At KIZUNA TRAVEL, we are proud to support POW JAPAN (Protect Our Winters Japan), an organization driven by the snow sports community that aims to achieve a shift to a decarbonized society. POW JAPAN leads various initiatives to combat climate change, and we share their vision for a sustainable future.

As a company deeply connected to nature and outdoor activities, we understand the urgency of preserving the environment in the face of the climate crisis. For those of us in the travel industry, where the environmental footprint can be significant, addressing climate change isn’t just a responsibility—it’s essential for ensuring the survival of the experiences we love to provide.

Partnership with POW JAPAN

At KIZUNA TRAVEL, we are committed to creating a sustainable future by taking proactive steps to address environmental challenges. As part of this commitment, we have partnered with POW JAPAN (Protect Our Winters Japan) to support their mission. Our approach is driven by two key objectives.

The first objective is to encourage as many people as possible to experience the joy of outdoor activities, including winter sports. We believe in the value of spending time in nature and want to share the incredible experiences that outdoor activities provide with people around the world.

The second objective is to reduce the environmental impact associated with those experiences. The travel industry has a significant carbon footprint, largely due to transportation and tourism-related activities, and we are dedicated to minimizing this impact wherever possible.

To achieve these two goals more effectively, we are proud to support POW JAPAN’s efforts. POW JAPAN is a leading organization working towards the realization of a carbon-neutral society, with a strong focus on climate action from within the snow sports community, and we are deeply aligned with their vision.

Looking Ahead

Moving forward, we will continue to expand our environmental initiatives within the travel industry. From implementing carbon offset programs and developing more sustainable travel packages to carefully selecting eco-friendly accommodations, we are dedicated to providing travel experiences that are both enjoyable and environmentally responsible. As part of our efforts to reduce CO2 emissions, we actively encourage the use of public transportation wherever possible, helping to minimize the environmental impact of travel.
